Our client, one of the most well-known and reputable IT consulting organizations globally, is looking to hire an SAP Performance Engineer to join their team in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
• Use profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
• Plan and execute performance tests using automated environments, analyze results.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews, ensuring quality in cross-team engineering efforts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++).
• Experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman).
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Expertise in SAP BTP platform optimization and its components.
• Experience with application & database monitoring in SAP BTP.
• Proficient in relational and in-memory databases.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer are a plus.
