Your Role

As an SAP SCM Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain systems. Working alongside our in-house SD/MM consultants, you will be responsible for the ongoing optimization and strategic development of our SAP S/4HANA-based SCM landscape. Your focus will be on ensuring scalable, integrated, and future-ready solutions that drive process efficiency and innovation.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Development

• Design and further develop our SAP SCM architecture, leveraging the latest capabilities of S/4HANA.

• Define a long-term SCM technology roadmap aligned with business goals and SAP best practices.

Consulting & Conception

• Advise internal business units on optimizing supply chain processes.

• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical concepts for S/4HANA implementation.

Solution Design

• Co-create robust, scalable, and maintainable SCM solutions.

• Ensure seamless integration within our existing S/4HANA ecosystem.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Work closely with in-house SD/MM module owners to maintain a consistent and optimized system landscape.

• Support the design and management of system interfaces and data flows.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct design reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality solutions.

Technology Scouting

• Stay up to date with emerging SAP SCM technologies and assess their potential for our organization.

Project Involvement

• Actively participate in implementation and optimization projects, including PP and EWM module expansions.

Your Profile

Education & Experience

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Several years of experience as an SAP SCM Architect or SD/MM Consultant, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in SAP SCM modules, especially SD and MM.

• Experience with related modules and technologies (EWM, PP, and third-party add-ons is a plus).

Process & Industry Knowledge

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and forecasting/planning methods.

• Experience with demand planning processes; industry knowledge in pharmaceuticals is a bonus.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English.

• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for business stakeholders.

• High learning agility and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
