SAP CPQ Consultant / Solution Architect.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPQ specialist to support the design, configuration, integration, and rollout of SAP CPQ within our global sales and commercial organisation. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, Pricing, IT, and Solution Engineering to optimise quotation, pricing, and configuration processes, ensuring seamless integration with SAP Sales Cloud (C4C), SAP Commerce, SAP S/4HANA, and CRM/ERP systems.
The role requires both functional and technical understanding of SAP CPQ and the ability to bridge business requirements and system capabilities.

Role Title: SAP Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Consultant / Solution Architect
Start Date: ASAP / negotiable (1 week workshop in December)
Location: Remote / hybrid depending on project needs, with occasional on-site (as required) European passport or UK passport holders required for client visits and workshops in Sweden (or Swedish residents permit holders).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SAP CPQ design, configuration, and implementation.
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Develop product configuration models, rules, pricing logic, workflow, and approval processes.
• Implement complex logic for:
  • Product configuration
  • Dynamic pricing and discounting
  • Quote management
  • Guided-selling processes
• Configure CPQ integrations with SAP Sales Cloud (C4C), SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP S/4HANA and CRM systems.
• Create functional specifications for extensions, scripts, and custom developments.
• Drive unit, integration, UAT, and regression testing.
• Support go-live, hypercare, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Prepare training materials, documentation and handover to IT and super-users.
• Serve as an advisor on CPQ best-practice deployment and scalability.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–5+ years hands-on experience implementing or supporting SAP CPQ.
• Proven expertise in CPQ configuration modelling, pricing, rules, workflows, and quoting processes.
• Experience integrating CPQ with SAP Sales Cloud (C4C) / SAP CRM / SAP S/4HANA / SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Lead-to-Cash / Quote-to-Cash processes.
• Experience working with complex product portfolios, pricing, variants, and sales BOMs.
• Clear and confident stakeholder communication, including workshop facilitation and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and to manage expectations in a fast-paced / global delivery structure.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience migrating from legacy CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Vendavo, Oracle CPQ, CAS, PROS).
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, high-tech, telecoms or utilities.
• Experience with SAP Billing / Subscription Billing (BRIM).
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) for technical integration.
• Scripting experience (JavaScript / Python) for advanced configuration logic.
• Experience working with multi-language and multi-country deployments.
