About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Python expertise to help design and implement secure, large-scale infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge access and security technologies that empower organizations to manage distributed workforces more effectively. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and full-stack web applications, primarily using Django.

• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers across the team to deliver high-quality features.

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from design to deployment.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.

• Proven background scaling large systems in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

• Strong backend experience with Python (Django experience preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Role Details

• Location: Fully remote within the U.S. (West Coast preferred for occasional office visits, but open to all)
