🌍 Ideal Candidate Profile: Senior System Engineer – Global Datacentre 

(Please note this role is only suitable for European candidates)

Location: Palma (Spain), Toulouse (France), or Eik (Norway) Team Environment: International, cross-functional, hybrid work culture

🧠 Core Technical Skills

• Operating Systems Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments

  • Experience with system hardening, patching, and performance tuning

• IT/IS Architecture:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable architectures

  • Strong grasp of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.)

  • Hybrid cloud integration and migration strategies

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

🔐 Security & Compliance

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other compliance frameworks

• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)

🤝 Soft Skills & Collaboration

• Excellent communication in English (French, Spanish, or Norwegian a plus)

• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures

• Strong documentation habits and mentoring mindset

🎯 Bonus Attributes

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, RHCE, or similar

• Experience in maritime, satellite, or telecom industries
