🚗 We’re Hiring: Senior System Test Engineer – Automotive
We are looking for an experienced Senior System Test Engineer to support the verification and validation of advanced automotive software and new ECU platforms in Ireland.

You will be responsible for:
✅ Designing test plans, test cases and test frameworks
✅ Performing ECU and vehicle-level validation
✅ Developing and executing automated and manual tests
✅ Testing across HIL rigs, test benches and vehicles
✅ Analysing defects and conducting root-cause investigations
✅ Ensuring traceability between requirements, tests and results
✅ Supporting continuous improvement of test tools and infrastructure

Key requirements:
🔹 7+ years’ experience in automotive system testing or validation
🔹 Strong experience with HIL testing and test automation
🔹 Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet
🔹 Experience with ASPICE, V-Model and Agile methodologies
🔹 Knowledge of ISO 26262 and requirements-based testing
🔹 Strong debugging, defect management and problem-solving skills
🔹 Vehicle diagnostics experience is highly desirable
🔹 Scripting skills such as Python or CAPL are beneficial
🔹 Full EU driving licence

Contract: Freelance - NO SPONSORSHIP
Start date : 03/08/2026
Location: Shannon, Ireland
Conditions: Hybrid (3 days / week on site) - NO FULL REMOTE
Duration: 12 months contract + extension
Rate: £35 - 45£ per hour
