SAP MM Procurement Consultant – S/4HANA | Japan | 12-Month Contract | ASAP Start

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP MM Procurement Consultant for a long-term contract opportunity based in Japan. This is an exciting opportunity to support a major S/4HANA transformation programme within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SAP MM Procurement activities within an S/4HANA environment
• Demonstrate and advise on S/4 MM Procurement functionality, covering both direct and indirect procurement processes
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and optimise Japanese purchasing and purchase order processes
• Configure SAP MM solutions aligned with factory/manufacturing operations
• Support full project lifecycle activities including configuration, testing, user training, and deployment
• Provide functional expertise and best practice guidance across procurement processes

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong SAP MM Procurement experience within SAP S/4HANA
• Proven understanding of Japanese purchase order and procurement processes
• Hands-on SAP implementation experience within factory/manufacturing environments
• Ability to configure, test, and deliver end-user training
• Experience in regulated manufacturing industries is highly desirable
• Japanese language skills are essential; basic English communication preferred
