IBM BPM / BAW Administrator (Hybrid – Riverwoods, IL)

Overview We are seeking an experienced IBM BPM / BAW Administrator to support and optimize enterprise workflow and business process management systems. This role will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of IBM BPM/BAW environments across both production and non-production systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong infrastructure background, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and support IBM BPM/BAW environments, including Process/Workflow Center and Process/Workflow Server (PROD and Non-PROD) • Perform system administration tasks such as BPMN snapshot deployments, instance purging, and indexing
• Manage Apache web server configurations, including SSL/TLS certificate renewals
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize WebSphere Application Server for performance and availability
• Conduct capacity planning and infrastructure assessments, including database growth forecasting
• Execute BPM purging activities and ensure system efficiency
• Deploy and manage IBM BAW on OpenShift platforms
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across BPM/BAW environments
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for BPM/BAW and related infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable workflow solutions
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements using IBM BPM capabilities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM BPM / BAW Administration
• Proven experience with installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting of BPM/BAW environments
• Strong knowledge of WebSphere Application Server
• Experience with Apache web server configuration and maintenance
• Solid database knowledge, preferably Oracle
• Experience with OpenShift deployments
• Familiarity with infrastructure capacity planning and performance optimization
• Experience managing security, SSL/TLS certificates, and vulnerability remediation
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and scripting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise-scale BPM/BAW implementations
• Exposure to automation, monitoring, and performance tuning tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Work Arrangement
