A fast-growing Series A Fintech business are revolutionizing how businesses access essential services, using their embedded insurance platform and expanding their partnerships with vertical SaaS platforms, this enables them to seamlessly offer customized commercial insurance solutions to their end customers.

This is a foundational role. You will be the first Data Engineer and have full ownership of the data infrastructure and architecture. You will work directly with the founders of the business to help drive the analytics across finance, product and underwriting, whilst building a modern data stack as well an tech enabled insurance carrier for vertical SaaS platforms like Mindbody, Toast etc.

This role has HUGE growth potential, with the opportunity to evolve into a Head of Data and build out a data team.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software engineering, with a strong focus on building data infrastructure
• Must be proficient in Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery and familiar with BI tools like Looker or Tableau
• Previous experience in an early-stage startup (Series B-C), ideally as a first data engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to build from the ground up
• FinTech Experience would be a plus!
