Next Ventures are looking for a IaC Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec in large-scale environments. You’ll be responsible for coding and managing Inspec baselines and profiles, ensuring infrastructure automation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Inspec baselines and profiles.
• Modify, validate, and test Inspec profiles to meet security standards.
• Automate infrastructure using Chef Infra and Chef Automate.
• Ensure continuous integration of Chef Inspec profiles into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Chef deployments.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in Chef Infra, Chef Automate, Chef Inspec.
• Unix/Linux, Ruby experience.
• Proven track record of managing and updating Inspec profiles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• 6 Month Contract
• Inside IR35
• Circa £500 per day
• ASAP Start

4 days Remote, 1 day per week on site in Canary Wharf London.
